Jade Hærem Aksnes

BIOGRAPHY

Jade is a director and writer from Norway. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Directing from the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, after graduating from the University of Bergen with a Master's degree in Film and Emotions and a Bachelor's degree in Film and TV (Directing).

Jade has written and directed several award winning short films that have screened at over 80 international film festivals worldwide, winning a total of 18 awards.

In 2022 she was awarded Arts Council Norway's Work Scholarship for Young Film Artists, and in 2023 she was granted Bergen Municipality's Work Scholarship for Film.

Currently, she is developing her debut feature film with funding from the Norwegian Film Institute's talent program NEO.

Jade is a member of the Directors Guild of Norway and the Writers Guild of Norway.
